we saw aunt sarah for the first time in almost two months this afternoon. brady dressed for the occasion in his new bowtie onesie! it was great to see her & grandma trish - brady charmed them with his new tricks of throwing everything off onto the floor, giggling copiously, and trying to grab the coffee cups relentlessly. what's not to love?

standing.
left the room for literally a few seconds, and came back to B rifling through my magazines. when did he get old enough to pull himself up??

stuck.
he's starting to pull up on things now, mostly the ottoman (so glad it's soft & baby friendly - the fireplace, notsomuch). it's funny though because sometimes his legs slip and he gets stuck in a funny position and then screeches for someone to rescue him. maggie is on her way, buddy!

escapee.
while waiting on the bath water to run, the naked escapee takes off :)
it really looks like he's crawling here but he still hasn't mastered it on his hands & knees. he gets up and rocks, then down to his tummy and army crawls. he's getting pretty fast though. think he'll be actually crawling any day now...
puffs.
slowly getting the hang of these puffs. today he figured out how to get one in his mouth on his own & not gag! lots of them end up on the floor (maggie isn't complaining) and around his high chair but it's improvement.
walking.
little bearcub has discovered that walking holding onto my hands is WAY more fun than being annoyed trying to crawl. so now when i try to sit him down to play with toys he stiffens up like a board & refuses to sit - and only wants to practice walking. little monkey!
snuggles.
i am always doing this to him, scooping him up and snuggling him relentlessly. he squirms & fights but i know he likes it. i can't get enough of him!
sitting up unassisted.
today he sat himself up from a laying position for the first time unassisted!! way to go bubs. he does it right at the end of the video - it cuts out before you see the move completed, but he did it. learning all these new tricks comes with a fair amount of frustration on his part though. it's hard work!!
