last thursday B got sick for the first time. poor babes. he got a cold, with congestion and cough and waking up all hours of the night. it was a rough few days for me & him and i think we're finally pulling out of the fog. of course, i got sick a couple days after he did so we were kind of a mess. thankfully i had a few days in a row off work and we were able to just lay low and recover.
coincidentally, brady had his four month peds appointment on friday so i was glad to get to see a doctor to confirm that it was indeed just a virus :) the pic above is us waiting in the waiting room. on the ill children side of the partition!
waiting for his vaccinations - POOR baby! double whammy to get shots when you already feel like crap. he was pretty miserable all day friday after that, slept a lot and took a lot of tylenol for his owies. he even got his first fever that night and let me just say for the record, having a sick baby is so pitiful. he was miserable and i felt so helpless to do anything to make it better.
i pretty much just held him all day and let him sleep off his woes. poor baby. hoping we don't get sick a lot this winter, but i'm afraid it's inevitable :(
