dear brady - you are becoming QUITE the challenge at meal times! it doesn't help that you are incredibly distracted by everything around you - mainly, the dog maggie. but also the tv if it's on, mama cooking while kate feeds you, a knock at the door, anything. you have recently discovered that it's way more fun to try to grab the spoon as it comes towards you full of food. or even more charming: flail your arms wildly about as it comes towards you and successfully fling baby food all over whoever is feeding you & the rug/table/chairs/walls. thank you for that new streak of independence! basically, every meal time is an opportunity for new sounds to get you to look at the spoon, finger snapping, singing, choo-choo sounds, airplane maneuvers, etc - as you hang over the side of your high chair, rub your hands through the food on your face, cry, shake your head or clamp your lips together.
